This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website and services, why we collect it, on what legal basis, how long we keep it and what your rights are. Processing is carried out in accordance with the Serbian Personal Data Protection Act (“Official Gazette of RS” no. 87/2018, “ZZPL”) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.
1. What data we collect
TL;DR: Only what you send us (name, email, phone, message) and basic technical data about your visit.
Data you provide to us yourself: full name, email address, phone number and the content of your message when you fill in the contact form or write to us. Data generated automatically: IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit and cookies (see the Cookie Policy). The tools/calculators run in your browser and we do not send the amounts you enter to any server.
2. Purposes and legal basis for processing
TL;DR: We use your data to respond to your enquiry, provide the service and meet legal obligations — always with a clear legal basis.
Responding to enquiries and communication — basis: taking steps prior to entering into a contract and legitimate interest. Providing accounting services — basis: performance of a contract. Meeting legal obligations (tax, accounting) — basis: legal obligation. Analytics and improving the website — basis: consent (cookies).
3. Data sharing
TL;DR: We do not sell data. We share it only with processors (hosting, email, analytics) and with the competent authorities when the law requires it.
We may entrust your data to carefully selected processors (hosting provider, email and analytics services) who process the data solely on our instructions and with appropriate protection measures in place. We may disclose data to the competent state authorities when legally required to do so. We do not pass data on to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Transfers outside Serbia
TL;DR: If a tool (e.g. analytics) stores data abroad, we ensure an adequate level of protection.
Some processors may process data outside the Republic of Serbia. In that case we apply the mechanisms prescribed by the ZZPL/GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses) to ensure an adequate level of protection.
5. Retention period
TL;DR: We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose or as the law requires (accounting records for longer).
We keep data from enquiries for the duration of the communication and a reasonable period afterwards. Data relating to the services provided and accounting records are kept for the periods prescribed by tax and accounting regulations. Once these periods expire, the data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
TL;DR: You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability — and to lodge a complaint with the Commissioner.
In accordance with the ZZPL/GDPR you have the right to: access your data, rectify inaccurate data, erasure (the “right to be forgotten”), restriction of processing, objection to processing, data portability and withdrawal of consent at any time. You submit your request to hello@econos.rs. You may also lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs).
7. Security
TL;DR: We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures (HTTPS, access control) to protect your data.
We take appropriate protection measures (encrypted connection/HTTPS, restricted access, regular updates) to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No transmission of data over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute safety.
8. Changes to the Policy
TL;DR: We may update this Policy; we publish material changes on this page with a new date.
